On September 1, 2023, Noortje de Beijer was appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Cardano. She succeeds Maureen Schlejen, who is leaving Cardano.
As CCO, Noortje is responsible for leadership and the further implementation of Cardano’s commercial strategy, which has been developed since the acquisition of ACTIAM. Her appointment ensures the continuity of service. Noortje is well acquainted with Cardano’s distinctive philosophy, approach, and customer base. The combination of risk management, pensions, and sustainable investments requires a proactive approach, and this aligns perfectly with her ambition and vision for the organization’s future. Her appointment is subject to approval from the AFM, Dutch regulator.
Noortje de Beijer: “I enjoy thinking about what motivates people and what makes them happy. It’s like solving a puzzle to connect people, tasks, and the unique needs of customers. I am very enthusiastic and honored to take on this responsibility. Filling this role is a great challenge, and I realize that I have big shoes to fill.
