<\/a>Our Sustainable Investment Policy<\/strong><\/a>  outlines our vision on sustainable investing, why it  is necessary, areas to focus on and how to do it. This document describes how we integrate sustainability throughout all activities of Cardano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appendix A: Sustainable Investment framework<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this document<\/strong><\/a> we provide a detailed description of how we classify all companies, sovereigns and institutions and how this impacts whether they fit in one of our investment solutions. We describe whether companies\u2019 activities fit in a sustainable society and whether companies have the capacity to adapt to the ongoing transitions we are seeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SFDR ‘Principal Adverse Sustainability Impacts’ Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cardano has a Sustainable Investment Policy with a dual objective: to achieve financial returns for its clients in line with the risks taken, while also contributing to the transition towards a sustainable society. Through this policy, Cardano encourages companies and institutions to thrive while operating within the planetary boundaries and respecting the social foundations of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cardano Sustainable Investment Policy provides a holistic view on the role of investors in guiding the transition to a sustainable society. As part of this policy, Cardano has developed a transparent framework to assess companies and institutions based on strict and carefully selected criteria. Cardano evaluates, for each company and institution, both the extent to which they (may) pose sustainability risks to investment returns, and the extent to which they have adverse impacts on sustainability factors. These factors include, among others, environmental, social, and employee matters, respect for human rights, anti-corruption, and anti-bribery. Based on these assessments, a company or institution may or may not be selected for investment by the investment funds managed by Cardano and\/or included in the investment services provided to institutional investors. These assessments are an integral part of the investment decision-making process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is the \u2018Statement on Principal Adverse Impacts of Investment Decisions on Sustainability Factors\u2019 as required under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) of Cardano Asset Management N.V.
